I don’t think anyone could have predicted a global lockdown from a pandemic.  I know I didn’t. I would like to formally say this post is strictly my opinion and does not reflect the views of my former or possibly future employer.

During the lockdown, everything in the travel industry stopped.  Cruise ships arguably were dealt the harshest blow.  Even now after nearly 10 months removed from the start of this global pandemic, most crew members are still unsure when we will be able to return to our jobs and lives onboard.

Some of us can afford to switch careers. But many of us can’t.  I’ve been busy trying to keep myself busy and found an outlet on my YouTube channel.  Here I have been assembling a series talking about my time working onboard cruise ships.  The first few videos have been about West Coast & Alaska ports. Soon I will be branching out from the United States and sharing more adventures.

Everyone, make the best you can out of this pandemic, because it won’t be stopping soon.  And remember, the difference between an ordeal, and adventure is your attitude.
