New Itinerary Aboard and Abroad

LEAVE DATE IS OFFICIAL! After months of biking and hiking I am excited to announce my new adventure aboard a cruise ship will begin in June 2018. My posts will be erratic the next two weeks due to my current “waiting game” coming to a close.

Due to this being a professional opportunity, I will keep my employer anonymous until my contract is finalized and the rules with posting about it on social media is ironed out. I can share I will be working from June to around Thanksgiving in November 2018. According to my current itinerary, I am scheduled to be in US in California, Alaska, Oregon, Washington, & Hawaii. I’ll also be in Canada, Japan, South Korea, and China. The schedule for the ship is set, but mine might make a couple changes.

My flight will be out of Orlando, Florida towards the Pacific Coast in California, then to the great north in Juneau, Alaska. From there I will board the ship, and my travel escapade series will be in full swing. I’ve only seen the Caribbean Islands and small rural parts of Canada. The constant rush of traveling is going to be a sensation I’ve never felt before. I plan on staying in a hotel the night before in Florida to share some final farewells before this six-month extravaganza.

The job I’ll be performing is a video producer. It’s an entry level position where I work with photography, videography, costume entertainment, and guest experience. The job is flexible with the demand of where I am needed. I also interact with on-shore, wedding, and ship experiences to capture guests enjoying their time through our services. This is certainly going to be a fast-paced environment and I know I’ll enjoy every second.

However, my video blog time will be handicapped at first. I know there will be training exercises, rules to observe, and settling time to offset my production for consistent video blogs. A schedule will be posted once I have a rhythm, I will share the results. It’s a goal of mine to increase my audience interaction and hopefully grow with this media as time goes by.

Thank you to all my viewers through my social media sites. Don’t forget to check out other ways to follow my escapades. Select any links at the bottom or the right hand side to keep up with the adventure. Always keep a positive attitude through every shitty experience. You never know where an opportunity may blossom. As I always say, the difference between an ordeal and an adventure is your attitude.
